The DeadLox

Just finished playing a two song open mic set at the Queen Theater  http://openmikes.org/listings/queen  in Wilmington.  First song was "Once Upon A Time" and we finished with the "Ocean".  (a little homage to my Mom) We really like the vibe here and there is always a good showing of musicians and patrons.  Kyle (the host) is always accommodating and we really enjoy playing here every Tuesday.  Our new best friends (and fellow open mike "ers" are "FishCastle" and can't wait to see them again!

We weren't able to play our usual Tuesday "Open Mic" night at the Queen Theater because Vikki and I were sick.

The Queen was  full of people this evening. Not sure where all these people came from?

Our second Open Mic night at the Queen Theater. We were the 6th act among 11 acts that signed up.  I've never heard that kind of loud clapping after our 2 song set.  A couple of promoters approached us after the show.  Although they want us to play non-paying events, the chance to play in front of people is priceless.  We signed up for one of the events (see March 9th concert event)
