Who were The Deadlox?
The DeadLox were a vocal duo characterized by complex harmonies layered on top of original songwriting accompanied by guitar. The duo consisted of Chelsea Phillips (left in picture above) and Victoria Shaver, both 19 year old folk-power pop singer/songwriters from Wilmington, Delaware. Chelsea and Victoria had been singing and writing together since they first met in 6th grade at Cab Calloway School of the Arts. Their collaboration had evolved over the years to incorporate complex harmonies and unique songwriting. Unfortunately, the duo split up. They could have been on the verge of something special but this hasn’t stopped Chelsea. She continues to hone her craft and won’t let this minor bump in the road prevent her from achieving total success. Chelsea has continued on as a soloist and can be found here: www.chelseaeraephillips.com This website will be left here because it showcases Chelsea’s ability to lead, write, compose and arrange complex harmonies for herself as well as others. |
